A combination of a vintage bobbin lace and my own beaded Métis rose pattern on teal/green velvet, mounted on an embroidery round. One of the first in this new body of work, Metis Rose Duet is an example of a beautiful artistic duet between me and a maker from the past. 6 1/2 inches round, this piece is finished on the back with home tanned moose hide.
